For a Sunday: The Assembly

Be it a lazy breakfast, long lunch or simple supper, Sunday is the perfect day for gathering don't you think? A day for bringing people together to meet around a table, to share a meal and to feel the sense of community we often find ourselves craving. There are few who embody this notion better than the lovely folks at The Assembly. From their consistently sold out seasonal gatherings to their beautifully curated online store, Nia and Johan just get it. They inherently understand the need to gather, to assemble, and feel that need themselves. In their own words:

Getting together, gathering and sharing. For us, life just wouldn’t be the same without community.

Our products are carefully curated to complement and fit with our daily life; a collection of the finest homeware, furniture and knick-knacks that help us get together at home.

I immediately thought of Nia and Johan when #mymonthofsundays began, and was delighted when they agreed to get involved. This month, The Assembly has kindly donated a lovely set of tools from their store to give away, all of which would be perfect for gathering on a Sunday (or any day of course). Good luck and happy Sundaying, my dears!

Linen napkins for buttery fingers and errant crumbs

Citrus reamer for fresh orange juice in your glass or lemon juice on your pancakes

Honey dipper to slowly swoop and drizzle generous amounts of honey onto homemade bread still warm from the oven

Pestle and mortar for muddling herbs for the Sunday roast or, better yet, an apéritif to toast a day well spent.

Simply share your Sunday moments on Instagram by tagging #mymonthofsundays for your chance to win!

Oh and do be sure to pop over to Me & Orla to see our favourite images from July.
